Summer Ringette Program
Summer Ringette is back for a third year in Burlington. This is a great opportunity for players to keep active in the summer as well as meet and play with players they wouldn't normally get a chance to play with. Last year we had players coming in as far as Niagara Falls and Paris.
The 2025 RAB summer ringette program offers players a chance to play in three different formats described below.
1. Pick-Up Ringette (U16-U19)
Format
Games will be played 5 on 5, but as it's summer we may have to play 4 on 4 depending on availability from week to week.
Dates
Games will be played on Wednesday evenings 6:30pm @ Appleby Rink 2. The program will run for 8 weeks from July 9th to August 27th.
Age/Level
This program is intended for U16B/U19B players. Players from other levels are welcome to play if they feel comfortable playing with players at this level. Last season we had several U14 players, as well as players from A/AA levels.
Goalies
Goalies will play for free, the first two to sign up will get first pick on what weeks they will be available if there are additional goalies interested they will be called on as needed.
Fee
As this is summer time we know players will likely be missing several weeks. For this reason we are pricing the program based on this expectation. The cost for the 8 weeks will be $80

2. 3-on-3 Ringette (FUN3-U14)
Format
Games will be played 3 on 3 format and 45 minute straight run time. Full rules can be found here: Burlington Summer 3 on 3 Ringette Rules
Dates
Games will be played on Tuesdays 5:30 PM @ Appleby Rink 2. The program will run for 4 weeks from August 5th to 26th.
Age/Level
This program is intended for FUN3 to U14 players.
Goalies
Goalies will play for free, the first two to sign up will get first pick on what weeks they will be available if there are additional goalies interested they will be called on as needed.
Fee
There is a flat rate fee of $40 for 4 sessions.
Attendance
We understand athletes may not make all sessions so we will use a sign up sheet for coaches to create balanced lines.

3. Summer development sessions for our FUN program (FUN1 & FUN2)
Format
Sessions will be led by Jackie Senior and parent volunteers to support player development in the summer months.
Dates
Development sessions will be held on Wednesday evenings @ Appleby Ice Centre. The program will run for 9 weeks from July 2nd to August 27th, 2025.

- Wednesday, July 9: Appleby Rink 2, 5:30-6:30 pm
- Wednesday, July 16: Appleby Rink 3, 5:00-6:00 pm
- Wednesday, July 23: Appleby Rink 3, 5:00-6:00 pm
- Wednesday, July 30: Appleby Rink 1, 6:00-7:00 pm
- Wednesday, August 6: Appleby Rink 1, 6:00-7:00 pm
- Wednesday, August 13: Appleby Rink 2, 5:30-6:30 pm
- Wednesday, August 20: Appleby Rink 2, 5:30-6:30 pm
- Wednesday, August 27: Appleby Rink 2, 5:30-6:30 pm

Fee
The 9-week summer package is priced at $85 and covers all sessions, regardless of how many you attend. Individual session payments are not available.

Registration
Registration for all formats will be available in RAMP Registrations. Be sure to choose either "Summer Ringette" or "3 on 3" at the appropriate age level. Goalies play for free so if you intend to play as a goalie please be sure to choose the correct package.
