RAB Season Registration


2023-2024 Season Registration Information

 

Review all information on this page and use the registration button at the end of the page to register.

  • Players are to register according to the division that matches their birth year. Adjustments to player registrations may be made once team formation is complete. If you are unsure which division to register for, visit our Levels of Play page.
  • Payment in full is required to secure the player's position on a team. Please see our Payments page for all payment information. Do not forget to submit the Online Payment Notification Form (found on the same page) if paying by e-transfer.
  • If you have never registered with the Ringette Association of Burlington in the past, you are encouraged to review RAMP Registration Guide to help you navigate the account creation process before registering. 

 

Division info and registration fees

RINGETTE ONTARIO MEMBERSHIP, DUES & INSURANCE FEES LISTED BELOW ARE INCLUDED IN THIS YEARS REGISTRATION COSTS.

FUN1 and FUN2 = $48.75

FUN3 - U19 = $62.25

FUN 1 

Usually ages 4-7 (born 2018 and younger), who are new to ringette or skating

 $375

 - Weekly practice Monday’s from  5-6pm (Early Oct to late March,  Focus is skating led by our Canskate Instructor(s))
 - Sundays - Half ice every other Sunday (Focus is ringette skills and cross ice scrimmages)
 - Cross-ice game play

FUN 2

Usually ages 6-8 (born 2016-2017), who have developed some basic skills but are still learning.

 $375

 - Weekly practice Monday’s from 5-6pm (Early Oct to late March,  Focus is skating led by our Canskate Instructor(s))
 - Sundays - Every Sunday (alternating full ice and half ice, focus is ringette skills and mini game scrimmages)
 - Optional travel games and tournaments.

FUN 3 (U10)

Usually ages 8-9 (born 2014 - 2015), who demonstrate readiness for more challenging play. 

 $700

 - Weekly Practice Wednesday’s from 5:30-6:30pm - approximately 20 hours on half sheet of ice (Early Oct to late March)
 - Games - approximately 8-10 home and 8-10 away games usually on weekends (Early Oct to late March)
 - Optional skills and development sessions available throughout the year at $15-$20 per hour

B Division

 - 10 Home games (Extended game time per ORA AA rules)
 - 10 Away games (dependent on other ringette associations)
 - Personalized jersey and Power skating instructor costs not included in registration fee and paid separately via team fee

Open 18+

18+ (1932 - 2005)

 $375

 - 10 hours of game time
 - NO practice hours

 

  • FUN 1 & 2 age brackets are for guidance only. Assessments will occur at the start of the program in order to create skill-based groupings. Dates and times will be the same for both programs. Further information on the programs can be found on our FUNdamentals page. 
  • FUN 3(U10), U12 and all B teams will be invited to participate in the Regional Championship Event.  
  • U14-U19 A/AA teams are expected to participate in tournaments (local and away) as well the Provincial Championship Event. 
  • Each team's head coach will communicate with parents at the start of the season regarding planned tournaments.  All tournament entry fees are funded by individual teams via team fees. See our team fee FAQ for details.

 

Respect in Sport Parent Program

Ringette Ontario has announced that one parent of every ringette player under the age of 18 is required to take the Respect in Sport Parent Program before participating in ringette programming, this course is mandatory to have the Player’s registration approved.

The Respect in Sport Parent Program is a one-hour online module for parents/guardians, reinforcing their role in their child’s activities, encouraging positive sports behaviors, and providing insight into the various roles other individuals play, such as coaches and officials.

This program empowers parents to:

  • Ensure the safety of their children
  • Encourage positive and effective communication
  • Enhance a child's overall enjoyment of Ringette

The online course costs $12 and is transferable to other sports involved in Respect in Sport.

Once complete, add your certificate number to the Respect in Sport Parent Certificate field, which is located in the Family Member page for every participant.

Full time goalies in U12-U19 are eligible for $300 discount on registration

Full time goalie in Open 18 that supply their own equipment are eligible for $300 discount on registration

A goalie must play 80% of the games to equal a whole season and qualify for the discount

New Player

 A $100 discount for new Ringette Association of Burlington players

Any new registrant in FUN1, FUN2, FUN3 or a B Division (regional) who has not previously played with Ringette Association of Burlington

  • There is no limit to the number of discounts that can be applied to a qualifying player's registration.
  • All applicable discounts will be added to player registrations and reflected in the RAMP registration system once team formation has been completed.
  • Enter the promo code during registration for all discounts which apply. Discounts are not automatically applied.
